Screen-used beautiful dead “Madison” from What Lies Beneath

(TCF/DreamWorks, 2000) This is the screen-used reference element puppet created for the beginning of the film when Michelle Pfeiffer slips under the water in the bathtub. Shot also for an overlay of the hair flowing in watery weeds and grasses, this bust establishes the look for the spirit that repeatedly tries to influence Michelle Pfeiffer’s character throughout the movie. Made of silicone over a fiberglass and steel armature with hand made acrylic eyes and hand tied and punched hair. Measures 24 in. high x 24 in. wide (on base). Estimate $3,500 – $5,500
