Original hero screen-used T-800 endoskeleton from T2 3-D: Battle Across Time. (Universal, 1996) This iconic T-800 Terminator was used in the James Cameron-directed mini sequel to Terminator 2 featured at Universal Studios, Florida, Hollywood and Japan. This endoskeleton is hand-crafted of chrome-plated resin over a steel and aluminum armature and the eyes are wired to illuminate in an eerie red (adapted to a standard wall socket). It features real metal feet indicating that it was Terminator which steps through the wall on the war-barren battlefield of the year 2029. This twelve-minute short, featuring key castmembers from Terminator 2, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong and Robert Patrick, cost $60 million to produce, making it the most expensive venture per-minute in movie history. The plasma rifle is not screen-used and was mounted by the original artisans who created the original character to complete this beautiful display piece that was featured prominently in the famed display room at Stan Winston Studio. Stands approx. 6 ft. 2 in. tall (on base).
