Jerry Maguire Tom Cruise Hero Baseball Hat

“Jerry Maguire” (1996), is one of America’s most beloved movies. Of course it brought us two classic lines that will forever be part of our lexicon: “Show me the money”, and “You had me at hello”. In the story, high-end sports agent Jerry (Tom Cruise), has an epiphany one night, and decides to write a “Mission Statement”, basically saying that agents should be fair and honest. Of course this is treason to his man-eating sharks at his agency, and he is soon fired, at which point Jerry tries desperately to hold on to his clients. One of his most promising of these is a young man, Frank Cushman ((Jerry O’Connell). Now an independent agent, Jerry flies out to see him, and his father (Beau Bridges) promises Jerry that they will stick with him. However, subsequently, when Jerry goes back to sign him, giving members of his family specially embroidered “Team Cushman” baseball caps to celebrate, they throw him under the bus. At this point Jerry begins to realize that his entire life is unraveling. This is the actual hero “Team Cushman” baseball cap worn by Tom Cruise in this emotionally charged scene. It is a classic baseball cap with white embroidered block letters of “TEAM CUSHMAN”. On the back is the “Reebok” embroidered logo, and inside the cap is the Reebok label with “TC” written underneath. As an extra bonus, also included are a prized collection of screen-used props from the movie. In this collection is the screen used hero ticket cover and tickets held by Rod Tidwell (Oscar® wining Cuba Godding, Jr.), screen used yellow “Dallas vs. Arizona” Press Box Pass with gold chain (for the final game that changes everything) used by Tom Cruise, a screen used green Press Box Pass from the “Arizona vs. Philadelphia” game, an actual NBA playing card created for the character of Calvin Nack (Brent Barry) , who “played for the Utah Jazz” and was one of Jerry’s clients. Also: three buck sheets with “Jerry Maguire” printed on the bottom. Two have “11.2 4 yrs. Arizona From Wilburn” hand written on them, (referring to owner Dennis Wilburn who made the final deal for Rod). Also included is a very rare “Jerry Maguire Company” business card with an actual address and phone number. And finally three hand written phone messages that were on Jerry’s desk during the classic “Show me the money” scene. The cap and prop collection are a true treasure chest of goodies from a treasured American classic! Estimate $1,000 – $1,500. Starting Bid $100
