James Bond prop Walther PPK pistol from License to Kill

(UA, 1989) Hard rubber prop gun with painted brown handgrips, cast from an original gun, replete with two series numbers on the left side of the frame (presumably the Walter S/N and the prop master’s inventory number). Used by Timothy Dalton in the fight scenes, this prop comes with a letter of provenance stating that the gun was originally acquired from Stembridge Gun Rentals of Los Angeles, the armorer who originally supplied the prop weapons for the film, as well as scanned copies of the original invoice, and work order on production company letterhead. A great prop weapon from the most serious of all the Bond films! Estimate $4,000 – $6,000
