Ed Wood - Plan 9 from Outer Space prop pistol

(Touchstone, 1994) This pistol was used in the Tim Burton film during the scenes in which Johnny Depp, playing Ed Wood, makes his low-budget science-fiction film, Plan 9 From Outer Space. This prop is a re-creation of the ones actually used in the 1950s Plan 9 From Outer Space and is constructed of white- and grey-painted molded resin. There is a working metal trigger and other metal attachments. One of only a few made, this gun is in excellent condition. Quite desirable as it represents the classic B-movie and a strange part of Hollywood history. The gun is 10 in. long. Estimate $600 – $800
