Carrie Henn "Newt" costume and display from Aliens

Carrie Henn “Newt” costume and display from Aliens. (TCF, 1986) Pair of blue and white striped overalls, together with a distressed pink sweatshirt. This is the costume worn throughout the film by Henn in her role as “Newt”, and due to the extensive studio distressing, was most likely made for “Newt” to be worn in the final scenes of the film. The costume is mounted on a life-like mannequin made to resemble Carrie Henn’s delicate character, custom-made using a direct mold from the original life cast taken of Henn during the production. The mannequin has been professionally painted, and complemented with a pair of child’s gym shoes and a wig to complete the presentation. A wonderful and instantly-recognizable costume from the film worn by the key character; in fact, James Cameron’s original working title of the film was “Newt’s Tale”, attesting to the importance of the character to the film’s plot. $12,000 – $15,000
