Batman - Costume Foundation

Batman (1989) – A cloth and spandex leotard which was the foundation for creating a batsuit from the original Tim Burton Batman film. The designer created this special leotard that the rubber body armor would be glued to. The rubber pieces would be glued to the black areas on the suit and then the white areas would be sprayed, once the suit was on Michael Keaton, with black rubber cement to complete the whole look. This suit was made for the production, but never completed. It has “BATMAN” written inside the collar and “michaelk”. Estimate $600 – $800. Starting Bid $100
