- xman replied to the topic Re: Importing prop weapons into Australia in the forum.Hey Unreelfx,
Some good info. Yeah I have had some interesting imports I probably should let them know first. As most of my guns have been outright replicas of real fire arms it's always been interesting. I did get a SST rifle one time directly from the post office and it wasn't packed too well and you could see part of the rifle. But to my suprise no issues on that one.
The one time I was going to go and give customs the heads up was with a purchase from the Prop Store but unfortunaely Prop Store didn't hold the gun while I went to organise the correct details. So it arrived with customs sending me a letter of rejection and the gun was going to be destroyed. I spent some time on the phone and pulled a miracle as I was told it almost never happens, customs sent the gun back to Prop Store of London. So lucky it was saved to be honest.

- Comment on the album Chronicles Of Riddick, The - Hero Meccan Prop RifleMeant to ask last time, how did you go with customs on that? I have had solid resin guns I have had to pick up from Federal Police in the past. Also one time bought a hero gun from Propstore but was denied and sent back.
