This unique item is from the television show Stargate Universe.

This is a screen used long-range, communication station from multiple seasons and episodes. The communication station includes the Haliburton carrying case, five communication stones, the accompanying console, mirror, remote and various cables (all shown in the photos below). The remote powers on as does the console. The remote controls has various controls including Remote Power, Device On/Off, Bright, Blinky, Scan and Dim. The remote powers the console on and can initiate the scanning sequence. The communication stones have a magnetic connection when placed on the console.

Colonel Young brought the carrying case containing the communication stones and other components with him to the Destiny. When Colonel Young was injured, Dr. Rush took possession of the items and used them to communicate with General Jack O'Neill who was back on Earth. The crew of the Destiny used the communication station several times to keep in contact with Earth.
