Ori Control Chair from Stargate SG-1. (MGM-TV, 1997-2007) This is an Ori Control Chair from the fan favorite science fiction series Stargate SG-1. Control chairs such as this, used in Ori motherships, contain a neural interface, but can also be controlled using the staff of the ship's Prior as the link with the ship and can be seen in numerous episodes including "The Shroud" and "Counterstrike." The back of the chair is formed in the symbol of Origin, though this appears to be purely cosmetic. The arm rests, however, feature small panels with buttons on them. Ori control chairs are also needed to align vessels into position. This item is made of gray resin, brown finished wood, and clear plastic, which makes for an expertly crafted piece that features working electronics, adding a level of excitement to an already brilliant chair. The armrests and bottom floor support are wood, with cutouts in the armrests' center featuring clear plastic panels that contain Ori symbols. The panels at the edge of the armrests are buttons surrounded by gray resin, and all four armrest panels light up a bright white light when plugged into a power source. The wooden bottom of the right armrest is slightly damaged at the edge due to production use and storage, and is not attached to the panel, however this can be easily repaired. The backrest and seat cushions are made of black leather and contain a very soft padding inside, giving a very comfortable feel when seated. Last, the outside frame of the seat and back are made of a gray resin completing the symbol of Origin design. The chair measures approximately 60 in. x 33 in. x 36 in. and is in very good condition. Includes an MGM COA signed by Executive Producer, Brad Wright.
