Locator Beacon from Stargate SG-1. (MGM-TV, 1997-2007) Used in numerous episodes in later seasons, locator beacons are small devices that, when in contact with a person or object, can be located by Asgard transport beams allowing the object to be teleported to another location. Made of plastic and painted a metallic dark-grey. On the top of the device is a small red light that is activated by a small switch on the side. The device and strap are 8 ½ in. long x 2 in. wide.
