Cobra Staff from Stargate SG-1. (MGM-TV, 1997-2007) In the Pilot Episode #1: Children Of The Gods, the Stargate SG-1 and SG-2 Teams venture out through the stargate for the first time to make contact with the other planets the stargate has links to. Once the teams enter through the stargate, Dr. Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) is the first member of the SG-1 team to make contact with an alien race which carry a wooden staff with a cobra head at the top. Made of polished and hand-carved wood with a cast resin head molded to look like a cobra, with a purple resin stone embedded in the staff below the cobra head, it measures 6 ft. long.
