Production description: Zat gun used by both Jaffa and humans in the production of Stargate SG-1. Zat'ni'katels were introduced in the SG-1 Season One finale, "Within the Serpent's Grasp," as a less-powerful alternative to the much larger staff weapon. The name, and the 3-shots-desintegrate nature of the Zat gun became the butt of numerous in-jokes, namely in the 100th episode "Wormhole X-Treme!"

Technical description: Production-made rubber Zat'nikatel. Painted bronze with turquoise highlights to simulate metal. Has purple detail at one end. Measures 10in x 2in x 6.25in.

Please note that everything we sell is a movie prop or costume and thus is distressed, worn and generally NOT BRAND NEW. We do not describe every dent, scratch and rip because these are movie props and that is the way they come. Please understand that nothing we sell will arrive in mint condition and may have defects that are not listed.

Propworx is the auction house for these auctions. We are a group of dedicated professionals and collectors who want to provide the best experience possible.

Every item is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Alec Peters, CEO of Propworx. Each certificate is tied to the particular item by a tamper-proof, individually numbered hologram. The hologram is in two parts, one of which is attached to the prop, the other which is attached to the COA, so the two items can never be sold separately. Fabric items, such as costumes, and small props (like jewelry) that cannot have a sticker attached, will have the hologram attached to a specially designed "costume" or "prop" tag.
