(Paramount TV, 1993-99) This original full-size bridge chair was used in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Trials and Tribbleations”. It was recreated for filming to exact specifications by professional Star Trek prop fabricators using an original chair from the classic series as reference. After the filming of the DS9 episode, the bridge chair was used in the filming of Star Trek episode wrap-around segments for the Sci-Fi Channel. Another Star Trek bridge replica set was built for the Sci-Fi Channel taping, and the original Star Trek cast was interviewed. This bridge chair was loaned to this production, and following the taping of these wrap-around segments, William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy personally autographed the chair in clear signatures. Also included in this lot are nine original prop Tribbles (in various sizes and colors) from the DS9 episode, acquired from Majel Barrett (Nurse Chapell/Gene Roddenberry’s widow) who supplied them to the episode for filming.
