(Sky One TV-UK, 1994- 95) This Demeter City Police Jacket clearly seen worn throughout the series and perhaps the most recognizable wardrobe associated with the series. The jacket is of a high quality heavy leather, altered for production purposes; the neck area has been enlarged (presumably to accommodate an animatronics mask) and there is an inner harness assembly to the inside back of the jacket. One sleeve features the Demeter City Police Shield Patch, the front features the fixing for the police shield/badge (not present). Shows general production wear and the zipper loose at top edging; otherwise fine. This was the highest-budget science-fiction series ever produced by Gerry Anderson, famous for classic sci-fi TV shows such as The Thunderbirds and Space 1999.
