(NBC-TV, 1993-95) This is the extremely rare first pistol made for the series starring Roy Scheider and Jonathan Brandis. Constructed of black painted resin with a sturdy grip, full-hand guard, and a black plate on either side, it was obtained directly from the prop maker who built it, and is the weapon that is seen in most of the publicity photos from the first season of the show. Because the producers drastically changed the look of the props for the second and third seasons, most of the first season weapons were altered. This could be the only one of this variety in existence, making it the finest one known. 8 in. in length.
