(Syndicated TV, 1994-98) This is the exceedingly rare original PPG (“Phased Plasma Gun”) rifle used in the pilot episode/movie of the series entitled “The Gathering”. It is constructed of hollow fiberglass with a grip on the bottom and a support grip on the left side. There were four of these originally made, and currently there is only one other still known to exist. This particular rifle is the close-up version that was made for the star of the show. as evidenced by the fact that it has a hollow top piece which housed a red laser light that has since been removed (this is the only one of the four made that had this light). This was the original design of the famous PPG rifle, which changed design drastically after the pilot episode. The rifle measures 36 in. in length.
