(MGM-TV, 1997-2007) This is a counterfeit DHD used in Season 10: Episode 16 “Bad Guys.” In the episode, the SG-1 crew are transported to an alien planet in which the Stargate is being kept in a museum of ancient artifacts. The curators of the museum had a replica DHD assembled to stand in front of the intact Stargate. When the team try to use the DHD to get home, they realize it's a replica when the buttons don't work. In lifting the DHD, numerous button-plates fall out of place. This large, black piece is made of dense rubber, with two circles of hard plastic pieces that feature constellation symbols (the keys to the Stargate). There is also a large static red button in the middle. The symbol pieces that fell off in the show are missing from this piece. The DHD measures about 48 in. x 48 in., and is in great condition, with only the six button-pieces missing.
