(ABC-TV, 1978-79) This full Cylon costume is constructed of silverplated
fiberglass (once gleaming, now painted down to simulate laser battle hits as well as amber rusting) and is attached to a large, freestanding metal hydraulic rig that once allowed (and perhaps could again with some reworking) the creature to split apart at the chest after being fired upon at the popular “Battlestar Galactica” attraction at Universal Studios in Hollywood in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The costume pieces of this costume may have been taken from (or carefully based upon) the expensive and elaborate costumes made for the series, which was then in production at the studio/theme park. Boots and gloves have beenreplaced and the Cylon has been recently restored and is ready to stand guard at your home or office.
Estimate $8,000 – $10,000
