Screen-used flying Hunter/Killer from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. (Carolco, 1991) The Hunter Killer of “HK” series of anti-personnel combat units were the simplest and most numerous of the various combat oriented machines designed by SKYNET to wipe out the human race. This Aerial Hunter/Killer was built by Gene Warren, Jr. and his crew at Fantasy II Film Effects for the “Future War” sequences. This 1/6th scale Aerial HK is created of steel, aluminum, fiberglass and resin and measures 54 in. long x 41 in. wide. The filming miniature was suspended by wires and shot strictly from low angles showing the bottom of the machine replete with mounted plasma gun. It features an extremely well detailed shiny metallic hull. Includes a LOA from the licensing agency that retained the prop upon completion of the production.
