Original hero Stormtrooper helmet from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. (TCF, 1983) This hero Stormtrooper helmet was worn by veteran stuntman Dickey Beer in the close up scenes on the forest moon Endor, shot in the Redwood Forest at Crescent City, California. Beer wore two styles of Stormtrooper helmets: one was for close-ups (this helmet) featuring convex lenses and more detail; the other, with flat lenses (with better vision) and less detail, was used for longer shots and running/action sequences. This is one of very few helmets to have survived the rigors of filming and, more importantly, it is completely original with absolutely no restoration. Includes an LOA from Dickey Beer.
