Rita Hayworth “Princess Salome” Jean Louis-designed gown from Salome. (Columbia, 1953) Jean Louis-designed Grecian-style floor-length gown of pale blue silk with a sweeping train in the back. Ornate breastplates are cut from thin brass sheeting and it has an integral sewn-in brassiere and sheer silk underslip. A matching silk belt ties around the waist. The silk exhibits normal wear in areas and the brass breastplate is bent at one point.
