766. Rifle from King Kong. (RKO, 1933) This prop rifle was visible in the gun rack on Capt. Englehorne's ship, Venture, which the crewmen are issued when it is discovered Fay Wray's character "Anne Darrow" has been abducted by the natives. It measures 51 in. and exhibits some wear on the wood. The strap is broken, but could easily be repaired. Includes an LOA from Steve Barkett, actor and director, who acquired this directly from the RKO/Pathe collection. $3,000 - $5,000
