(RKO, 1933) Large oval (4) and hexagonal (2) shields, and (8) staffs fabricated of painted fiberboard, wood, leather, and muslin-wrappings brandished by natives of Skull Island in KING KONG, and almost certainly recycled for use again in SHE and other RKO productions. Shields range in size from 20 x 35 in. (plus attached pole) to 19 x 51 in., and staffs are generally 36 in. long. From the studio lot once the home of RKO and Pathe.
