(RKO, 1948) Ingrid Bergman’s portrayal of the doomed
but sainted warrior in RKO’s 1948 epic Joan of Arc was properly saintly
notwithstanding the fact that Bergman was not a teenage girl at the time.
This teardrop shaped shield is painted blue with three large emblazoned
gold Fleur de Lys as seen in the film, and includes a prop sword with
ornate scabbard.
