(MGM, 1959) This magnificent costume consists of a white cotton underskirt/tunic with red/orange stripe at the hem; leather skirt, two-piece fiberglass torso armor painted to resemble burnished bronze, a long cape, pair of leather sandals and a legionnaire sword with scabbard. Made for one of the centurions in the sea battle sequence. Rarely does a complete a costume from one of the great biblical epics such as this ever appear at auction.
