629. Three porcupine puppets from Alice in Wonderland. (Lou Bunin Productions, 1949) Three porcupine puppets seen during the croquet match at the Royal Court they were used for the croquet balls. Constructed of Bunin's own rubberized foam compound for the flexible skin over a special wrapped wire armature. The puppet are posed in different poses, each hand-painted and detailed. Measure approx. 3 in. tall. Each exhibits cracking and wear; otherwise, very good condition.
