631. Court Jester puppet from Alice in Wonderland. (Lou Bunin Productions, 1949) Court Jester puppet seen during the croquet match at the Royal Court and other scenes. Constructed of Bunin's own rubberized foam compound for the flexible skin over a special wrapped wire armature. This skin features a harder compound which may have conformed to the puppet's use for a static or low-action shot. Hand-painted and impressively detailed, it measures approx. 10 in. tall. It exhibits cracking and wear and remains somewhat fragile; otherwise, good condition.
