(Columbia, 2000) Rubber stunt tomahawk painted to resemble wood with a steel or iron head, ornately engraved on the handle with studio blood on the blade. This was Gibson’s character Benjamin Martin’s weapon from the French and Indian War, and figures prominently in the film, when his son tries on his uniform at the beginning of the film, and later when Gibson attacks the British patrol inthe woods, killing the entire squad of Redcoats with the help of this tomahawk. A great stunt prop from this historical epic! Measures 18. in. long.
