Also two screen-used smaller “mon” flags (one blue, one red) worn on the backs of samurai and used in the battle sequences filmed in New Zealand. Constructed of cotton and mounted on bamboo poles. Includes a production director’s chair back embroidered “The Last Samurai” as well as Japanese kanji.
