(TCF, 2009) This 1:16 scale X-15 aircraft miniature depicts one of the many experimental aircraft used by Air Force pilots to explore the boundaries of space. Used in the exciting escape scene of the Wright Flyer flying through the National Air and Space Museum, this miniature is made from vacuum formed plastic and features a detailed cockpit and black paint scheme. Measures 38 in. long with a 19 in. wingspan.
