(TCF, 2009) 1:16 scale Lockheed Electra aircraft miniature used in the museum fly-through scene of the National Air and Space Museum. This handcrafted, scale version is built from vacuum formed plastic and is based on the same type of aircraft that Amelia Earhart last flew. The custom applied decals on the wing reads “NDS 4105” which stands for New Deal Studios and their street address. Measures 28 in. long with a 40 in. wingspan.
