(Universal, 2001) One of several test paint jobs developed for the film, this Velociraptor maquette is the new look chosen for the male dinosaurs that featured prominently in the film. It is hard resin, hand painted and detailed in pose and finished to give the clearest preview as to what the full-sized character would look like. The look of the dinosaurs was established in the first Jurassic Park film, and as such they were deviated from only to match any new changes in contemporarily-held paleontological beliefs. Measures 15 ½ in. tallx 30 in. long.
