(Universal, 2001) This is the original one-fifth scale approval miniature created for the director and producers to see and approve before the creation of the full-sized largest known carnivorous dinosaur. Created out of resin and rigid polyfoam over a steel armature, the color and detail were established in small scale before being used as reference for the larger character. Measures 100 in. long x 40 in. wide.
