508. Russell Crowe hero "Maximus" shield from Gladiator. (DreamWorks, 2000) This hero shield was used by Russell Crowe as "Maximus" in the Coliseum battle sequence with "Tigris of Gaul". This ornate silver and black shield is made of a durable polyurethane outer coating with rigid fiberglass support structure. The reverse side of the shield has a forearm pad with two leather straps.
