A Memphis magazine used in the dramatic adventure film Cast Away. This magazine can be seen towards the end of the film when Chuck (Tom Hanks) has returned home from the island and goes to visit Kelly (Helen Hunt); this one looks to be at the top, above the other papers and magazines on the table from reading about Chuck’s disappearance and recent rescue. The custom printed prop’s front cover is dated May 2000, and features a full page picture of a long haired Chuck bundled up in a blanket after being rescued from his raft, beneath which is the tag line “Return to Sender”, referring to FedEx employee’s ordeal. Measures 29cm x 34cm (11.5” x 13.5”).
