This costume was worn by Astinos in the high action battle scenes in the film and features prop made battle scars on the costume and props; the helmet has deep 'gashes' and prop blood splatters, the shield has spear induced divots. The leather codpiece, material cape (which is fitted with leather straps to hold it in place), helmet, leather sandals, rubber grieves, gauntlets and vac-formed plastic shield (which has leather bound handles on the inside, measures approximately 34 ½ in. are all labelled with the characters name and the scenes in which they were used. The codpiece and sandals were used throughout the film. The costume also comes with his stunt sword in a leather scabbard; the sword is made of hard rubber for safety whilst filming.
