(Warner Bros., 2006) Spurned by King Leonidas, the deformed Ephialtes betrays the Spartans by revealing a secret pathway through the mountains and around the Spartan defenses. This hero, screen-used costume of Ephialtes consists of a body suit, uniform, and animatronic head. This display piece includes the remote control used to operate the eyelids, eyebrows, and mouth. His skin is made of foam latex with discreet mesh openings in the neck to allow the actor to see and breathe. His ill-fitting, Spartan garb is also screen-used. The base is custom made from wood and finished to resemble the surface of the set. His custom welded armature supports the foam body pieces to ensure the striking pose. The entire display is 60 in. tall, 48 in. deep, and 36 in. wide.
