(Buena Vista, 1993) Constructed as a one-off piece solely for the tight close-up shot of Sally holding the tree, this Sally arm is the largest scale (400%) ever produced for The Nightmare Before Christmas. Constructed of resin and featuring red-painted fingernails and trademark blue string stitching on the forearms, this impressive piece measures 10 ¾ in. long with exposed wire armature and attached screwdriver for use by the puppeteer. Exhibits slight wear and cracking at the pinky finger; otherwise, remarkable condition. From the vivid imagination of writer, director, producer and illustrator Tim Burton, the following 99 lots (1352-1450) represent his groundbreaking vision from his first short film, Vincent, through the critically acclaimed films The Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach and Corpse Bride.
