1037. Sally's screen-used water pump from The Nightmare Before Christmas. (Buena Vista, 1993) Sally's Water Pump appears in the kitchen sequence where she makes soup, as well as other kitchen sequences. It measures 10 ½ in. tall and is made of durable sculpting materials including plastic tubing, polymer clay, epoxy putty, styrene sheet, and thick aluminum armature wire. The original paint remains as it was at the end of the last shot, with a few small touch ups. The pump was first painted in the model shop, and was modified on set to enhance the lighting. This piece is from the personal collection of the director of photography of NMBC. In fine condition and mounted to a wooden base.
