Sally’s bowl and spoon from The Nightmare Before Christmas. (Buena Vista, 1993) Early in the film, Sally tricks Dr. Finkelstein into thinking that she has tasted some poisoned soup by using a spoon with holes that allow the liquid to drain out. The studio artists created this bowl and spoon (complete with holes) to be used in the close-up shot. These are the screen-used, extra-large pieces that were utilized in one of the only live action shots that occurs in the entire film. Constructed of painted resin and set in a custom made display stand. Bowl measures 10 in. in diameter, spoon measures 7 in. long.
