(Buena Vista, 1993) Visible in the sequence when “Santa” Jack Skellington flies over Christmastown this radar dish is intricately constructed of resin and styrene components with exposed wiring and realistically painted to resemble weathered metal. Measures 9 ½ in. wide x 10 in tall. Includes three spotlights of different sizes for the forced perspective shot, constructed of resin and styrene. Two retain the electronics for illumination (untested). Measure 2 in. x 2 ½ in. up to 3 ½ in. x 5 in. Includes LOA from the model maker that built them for the film. From the vivid imagination of writer, director, producer and illustrator Tim Burton, the following 99 lots (1352-1450) represent his groundbreaking vision from his first short film, Vincent, through the critically acclaimed films The Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach and Corpse Bride.
