1040. Screen-used Christmastown House from The Nightmare Before Christmas. (Buena Vista, 1993) This house was seen prominently in the background when Jack was dancing in the street. The house is painted green for this scene but subsequentyly painted red for later use during the production (original green paint can be seen upon close inspection). Constructed of foamcore with internal balsa wood and dowel rod bracing, the snow-capped roofs are sculpted foam. Measuring an impressive 22 in. wide x 25 in. tall, it exhibits only some minor cracking at the roof peaks. One internal wall section is loose (not structural) and could be easily repaired.
