1145. Hero Compsognathus puppet and stunt Compsognathus from The Lost World: Jurassic Park. (Universal, 1997) This is a full cable puppet that was screen-used in the scene where the small dinosaurs are attacking Dieter (Peter Stormare). Foam latex deteriorates, this character is in a condition that shows how quickly foam latex can deteriorate if it is used extensively on set in difficult shooting conditions. Painted with rubber based paints, the mechanical structure is still intact. Also includes a "throw off" Compy, this stunt copy of the Compsognathus dinosaur is in poor condition due to use on set and storage conditions. In the film, when Dieter (Peter Stormare) is attacked by a group of the hungry critters, he tries to save himself by throwing them off, but fails. $2,000 - $3,000
