(Universal, 1993) Original velociraptor dinosaur claw from the upper limb of one of the hero animatronic velociraptors from the film. The claw measures 4 in. long, and was cast in polyurethane over a hand machined metal animatronic control cylinder with mounting groove, then finished in custom
paint with latex residue from the simulated skin of the velociraptor. After the completion of photography, the majority of the dinosaurs created
for Jurassic Park were skinned in order to recycle their animatronic components. A excellent relic from this groundbreaking film which won three Academy Awards for special effects, including Best Visual Effects.
Estimate $500 – $700
