Screen-used hero “Amy” animatronic head from Congo. (Paramount, 1995) This is the screen-used hero head for Amy the gorilla from the screen adaptation of the Michael Crichton novel. This is one of two heads created capable of full-range of expression. Constructed of silicone skin with carbon fiber underskull and hand ties and punched hair. The mechanisms for the eyes, jaw and other facial expressions are still in place. Measures 15 in. long x 9 in. wide.
