(Walt Disney, 1982) Perhaps the most identifiable prop from this imaginative film, is this Identity Disc, a detachable glowing disc worn on the user’s back. As the villain, Sark, so eloquently put it, “You will each receive an identity disc. Everything you do or learn will be imprinted on this disc. If you lose your disc, or fail to follow commands, you will be subject to immediate deresolution. That will be all.” Based on a Frisbee, the disc is constructed of white plastic with applied black gaffer tape at the outside edge and white and black painted paper affixed at the center and inside surfaces. Measures 9 ¼ in. diameter. Exhibits minor soiling but remains in very good condition.
