Constructed of wood and features Santa Claus in fur-trimmed clothes with five animatronic puppets wired with servos to control the intricate movements of the puppets during the flight sequence near the end of the film.. The eight reindeer are constructed of aluminum armatures with fiberglass and wire frame bodies covered in foam latex and packed with servos to control the individual leg and head movements. Reindeer are mounted to a large wooden chain-driven, rod-actuated armature for the uniform side-to-side movements. The reindeer’s foam latex covering is brittle and chipped exposing the internal servos and understructures. A very impressive collection of puppets from the film.
