(Paramount, 1984) Rare Thuggee curved sword with lion-head pommel design and sheath, both made of molded fiberglass painted silver. Measures approx. 35 inches long. The top of the sheath is wrapped with suede. It is rare for Temple of Doom swords to be in such good condition – and rarer still with sheaths – as their lightweight construction causes them to be destroyed either during or after the production. Originally acquired from the late Nick Harrison of Elstree Studios.
