(Paramount, 1984) The model mine car was used in a shot near the end of the scene where Indy, Willie and Short Round race through the mine in a cart trying to escape the Thuggee guards, and the Thuggee’s car flies off the track behind them. ILM’s model sequences were inter-cut with the live action sequences to form the famous scene, and this particular car is not as detailed as others because it is a stunt version and is n vot seen close up by the camera. The model stunt car has been broken in places for the scene where the car comes off the tracks and smashes into some track supports. The mine car on its stand measures approximately 8 in. x 7 ½ in. x 4 ½ in. and the barrels when stacked measure 9 in. in height.
